Itinerary outline

Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu
When the visitors arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu they will be warmly welcomed, received and transferred into the hotel and will discuss about the trip and design the itinerary according to visitor’s convenience. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
The next day in Kathmandu, you will be visiting the Durbar Square Heritages and other sites which are enlisted in the UNESCO’s list of heritages like Pashupatinath Temple, Swyambhunath. You will be glad to visit those places where you can see the lively monuments that never die nor do they age. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 3: Fly to Lhasa
On the 3rd day of the itinerary, you will be flying to Lhasa, the capital city of the autonomous region of Tibet, from Kathmandu. Upon reaching Lhasa, you will visit different places including the monasteries in Lhasa. Among the different monasteries, Sera Monastery is considered as the best-preserved monasteries in Tibet. After taking the lunch we will take a walk around the remaining parts of Lhasa rather delightfully.

Day 4: Acclimatization and rest in Lhasa
On the 4th day, you will be busy exploring the remaining places that you did not finish on the 3rd day. So, you have an additional day to discover and complete your research within this day as next day you will be moving for Gyantse. Lhasa has lots of things to do so usually two days may not be sufficient from a tourist’s point of view. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 5: Drive to Gyantse (3950m)
The next day you will head towards Gyantse (3950m) which covers around 216km. On this particular day you will be blessed to view the scenery which is out of this world at Khamba La. The moment when you will see the breathtaking glaciers your eyes will be wide open. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying the magnificent and beautiful valleys. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 6: Drive to Shigatse (3900m)
In the early morning, we will utilize the free time visiting the Gyantse Dzong and Gyantse Kumbum. The Dzong is a fort dating from the 14th century from which can be seen amazing views of both Gyantse itself and the surrounding Nyang Chu Valley. The Kumbum is a large gold-domed Stupa and its many small chapels house an inspiring collection of Tibetan Buddhist wall painting. Then you will continue to Shigatse (3900m), 90km, where you will take your lunch. Shigatse is the second largest city in Tibet . Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 7: Drive to Shegar/ New Tingri (4050m)
Today you will be continuing along the amazing things at the infertile land yet amazing countryside of Tibet. Beyond the small town of Lhatse we cross the highest pass on our journey that is Gyantse. From Gyantse, you move down to the plains, passing lonely monasteries, the camps, en route to Shegar. Overnight stay at a guest house

Day 8: Drive to Rongbuk Trek (5000m)
The 8th day you will reach to Rongbuk (5000m), 68km heading on the road to the main Himalayan Range which provides an incredible view on the Himalayan mountains which lie in the vicinity. As we revolve the corner into the Rongbuk Valley, the hidden Mount Everest can be seen. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 9: Trek to Everest Base Camp and back to Rongbuk
On the 9th day of Tibet-Everest Base Camp, you will trek to Everest Base Camp early in the morning as you have to come back Rongbuk. So, to linger here and there means to bear loss. It does not mean you would not be provided time to explore the things. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 10: Drive to Nyalam
On the 10th day of the trekking, you will travel by moving down from the Tibetan Plateau to Nyalam, which takes only 30 km just before you appear to Nepalese border. In Nyalam, you can see the spectacular which is unexpected and whole things come into sight as an extremely lush and lime. Overnight stay at a guest house.

Day 11: Fly to Kathmandu
On the 11th day after finishing the trekking you will be returning from Tibet and reach Kathmandu taking a flight. As you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu you will be staying in the guest house.

Day 12: Departure!!!!
On the 12th day after a short trek you will be returning your own country and departure from Tribhuvan International Airport.

Getting to Nepal - You will land at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu when you first come to Nepal. Our travel representatives will receive you at the Airport and then transfer you to a hotel in the capital city. That will be our first task after you land in the country. The itinerary then follows in the coming days.

Visa information in Nepal - Once you arrive in Kathmandu, your first job or task will be to consult the Department of Immigration in Nepal regarding your Nepal stay. Our team members will help you in completing the necessary works regarding Visa and the procedures of extension, if needed. If you are planning for an extended stay in Nepal, say more than three months or around a year or so, then you need to extend your Visa through the Immigration Department. This won’t be of any problem as we will handle the government-related activities.

Trek permit - There are some restricted trekking destinations in Nepal which require special permission from the government of Nepal or a government agency for the foreign trekkers. They also need to pay a fixed royalty to trek some of the selected places in Nepal. Some of the restricted trekking destinations like Upper Dolpo Trek, Mustang Trek, Rara Trek, etc. require special trek permit for the foreigners. However, there won’t be any such problem as we, the company, will look after the legal formalities in securing the trek permits for the clients. It will be our responsibility to secure trek permits for you.

Altitude sickness - As most of the trekking destinations in Nepal exceed 4000 meters of altitude, high altitude sickness is one of the common problems faced by the trekkers. High altitude sickness can be very fatal and dangerous if you are not prepared for the same. Some of the trekking destinations like Upper Mustang Trek, Everest Base Camp Trek, Langtang Circuit Trek exceeds and nears around 5000 meters of altitude with chances of high altitude sickness. However, if you are aware of the problem and if you take special measure, then altitude sickness can be avoided and will not be much of a problem. As we have experienced trekking guides and a team of experienced hand, altitude sickness will not be a problem and even if it occurs, it will be handled well by our team members.

Medical Kit - Whenever we embark on a tour package or itinerary, we are fully prepared of the possible consequences or the untoward incidents, and hence our team carries a separate medical kit. Medical kit is of immense help and importance during long tours and trek as you never know what will happen next, even regarding the health of the trekkers. Availability of medical kit is very paramount as it will help to provide immediate medical attention to the needy person. Problems of high altitude sickness, shortness of breathing, dizziness, etc. are the ones frequently encountered during the trek. Presence of medical kit helps to resolve any of such problems and provides immediate relief and medical attention to the person who is in need for the same.

Equipment - Some special trekking equipments are necessary for expedition and some other treks. Such special equipments will have to be brought or arranged by you. As such equipments are quite expensive; it is not possible for us to arrange such materials. However, general trekking and minor accessory requirements will be provided by the company. You only need to bring with you some of the special trekking equipment necessary for trek and expedition. Also, if you do not have such equipments then we can provide you with such equipments, but you need to pay for it.

Female trekking guide - As mentioned earlier, we have a team of very experienced manpower who have worked in the tourism sector for many years. Likewise, we have very much experienced trekking guides who know every detail that is to be known regarding trekking and tours. In addition, we also boast of female trekking guides with fair bit of prior experience in the field of tourism. The number of female trekking guide has increased in the tourism sector in Nepal over the years and we also boast of an experienced core team of female trekking guides with considerable experience. Availability of female trekking guides might prove to be comfortable for the female trekkers if they want to share anything private or personal, and this is one of the advantages of having female trekking guides in the travel crew.
