Lower Mustang Trek is another trekking trail in Nepal that is hugely popular among both domestic and foreign trekkers. Lower Mustang Trek is located in the western part of Nepal in the remote district of Mustang. Much like the Upper Mustang Trek, Lower Mustang Trek takes the trekkers to the secluded region of Mustang, amidst the mountains, barren hills, along the Kali Gandaki River and through many Buddhist Gompas and monasteries. Lower Mustang Trek does not quite gain the elevation like the Upper Mustang Trek; however, Lower Mustang Trek treads through some of the popular and famous regions of the Mustang region like Jomsom, Kagbeni and the famous Hindu shrine of Muktinath Temple.

Lower Mustang Trek starts off from the beautiful city of Pokhara. And for the next two weeks, you will be trekking along one of the fascinating trails in the world, marveling the nature, beautiful landscape, indigenous people of the region and their culture. The bus drive up to the Tatopani the place famous for the natural hot springs near Beni in Myagdi district of Nepal would be the experience of rural highway road trip. Once you have savored your skin with the natural hot water then the walking in the trail takes momentum. Passing by the beautiful Marpha village, Rupse waterfall and finally reaching the Muktinath Temple would be the major highlight of the trekking. Once you have trekked this trail then the flight back Kathmandu from the windiest airport of Nepal in Jomsom would be the icing in the cake for your luxurious trekking journey in the Himalayas. The sweet memories of the trekking combined with the mountain flight back to Kathmandu would provide you the worth of every penny spent for the tour.
