Day 11 - Departure to TIA “Farewell!"

Day 01–Arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at the International Airport in Kathmandu, our team members will welcome you and explain briefly about the travel itinerary. You will then be taken to the hotel where you will be staying for the overnight.

Day 02: Drive to Syabru Besi (1450 meters) 7 hrs
Seven hours drive from Kathmandu will take you to Syabru Besi on the second day. It is located to the North of Kathmandu Valley and the drive is quite pleasant as you pass through some scenic beauty along the Trishuli River via Dhunche, the district headquarters of Rasuwa district. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 03: Trek to Lama Hotel (2500 meters) 5 hrs
The real trek commences on the third day as we cross the Bhote Koshi River and follow along the Langtang River. This trail gradually ascends through dense bamboo forests. We trek close to 1000 meters on the third day as the popular Lama Hotel is located at an altitude of nearly 2500 meters. The destination for the third day is the Lama Hotel where you will be staying for the night. Moreover, if you are lucky enough, you might see spot Red Pandas, monkeys and bears along the trail.

Day 04: Trek to Langtang (3514 meters) 5 hrs
We cover another 1000 meters in a day as we reach Langtang valley on the fourth day of the trek. The trek route follows the route of ‘Ghoda Tabela’ which in Nepali means the Horse stable. After this, the trail is quite steady as we cross the beautiful while watching the Himalayan Yaks grazing on the field. Langtang village is one of the oldest villages in Nepal and the view of breathtaking Himalayas from Langtang is quite famous. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 05: Trek to Kyanjin (3900 meters) 4 hrs
Trek from Langtang to Kyanjin is just about mere 400 meters, but the trek is fascinating because we come across several Cheese factories that are quite popular for the quality of cheese they produce. More over there are several Buddhist monasteries in the Kyanjin and the most popular one is the Kyanjin Gompa which is known among the tourists. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 06: Back to Lama Hotel from Kyanjin 5 hrs
On the sixth day we return back to Lama Hotel from the beautiful Kyanjin. As it is a downhill climbing, it takes less than five hours to reach the Lama Hotel. We will be staying at the Lama Hotel for the second time during the travel itinerary.

Day 07: Trek to Thulo Syabru (2200m) 5hrs
On day seven, we further descend from the Lama Hotel enjoining the natural beauty on offer. While on the route to Thulo Syabru, we might also be privileged to see more of Red Pandas, monkeys and various rare species of birds. Thulo Syabru is a wonderful traditional village in Rasuwa which also offers unadulterated views of the Ganesh Himal (7110meters), Langtang Himal and other mountain ranges. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 08: Trek to Dhunche (1950m) 4hrs
The eighth day, we trek until Dhunche, the Rasuwa district headquarters. It is a short trek from Thulo Syabru and it takes around 4 hours to get to the district headquarters. Upon reaching Dhunche, we will be resting for the rest of the day in a guesthouse in Dhunche.

Day 09: Drive to Kathmandu 6hrs
You will drive back to Kathmandu, the capital city on day nine of the trip while enjoying the wonderful views along the Highway and along the banks of Trishuli River. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
On the penultimate day of the tour package, you will be sightseeing around the Capital city of Kathmandu. Several world heritage sites including Basantapur Durbar square, Swayambunath Temple, Bouddha Stupa, Pasupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square, among others, are located in Kathmandu that will keep the tourists enchanted.

Day 11- Departure to TIA “Farewell!"
On the 11th day of the tour package, you will return to your country via the international Airport in Kathmandu.

Getting to Nepal - You will land at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu when you first come to Nepal. Our travel representatives will receive you at the Airport and then transfer you to a hotel in the capital city. That will be our first task after you land in the country. The itinerary then follows in the coming days.

Visa information in Nepal - Once you arrive in Kathmandu, your first job or task will be to consult the Department of Immigration in Nepal regarding your Nepal stay. Our team members will help you in completing the necessary works regarding Visa and the procedures of extension, if needed. If you are planning for an extended stay in Nepal, say more than three months or around a year or so, then you need to extend your Visa through the Immigration Department. This won’t be of any problem as we will handle the government-related activities.

Trek permit - There are some restricted trekking destinations in Nepal which require special permission from the government of Nepal or a government agency for the foreign trekkers. They also need to pay a fixed royalty to trek some of the selected places in Nepal. Some of the restricted trekking destinations like Upper Dolpo Trek, Mustang Trek, Rara Trek, etc. require special trek permit for the foreigners. However, there won’t be any such problem as we, the company, will look after the legal formalities in securing the trek permits for the clients. It will be our responsibility to secure trek permits for you.

Altitude sickness - As most of the trekking destinations in Nepal exceed 4000 meters of altitude, high altitude sickness is one of the common problems faced by the trekkers. High altitude sickness can be very fatal and dangerous if you are not prepared for the same. Some of the trekking destinations like Upper Mustang Trek, Everest Base Camp Trek, Langtang Circuit Trek exceeds and nears around 5000 meters of altitude with chances of high altitude sickness. However, if you are aware of the problem and if you take special measure, then altitude sickness can be avoided and will not be much of a problem. As we have experienced trekking guides and a team of experienced hand, altitude sickness will not be a problem and even if it occurs, it will be handled well by our team members.

Medical Kit - Whenever we embark on a tour package or itinerary, we are fully prepared of the possible consequences or the untoward incidents, and hence our team carries a separate medical kit. Medical kit is of immense help and importance during long tours and trek as you never know what will happen next, even regarding the health of the trekkers. Availability of medical kit is very paramount as it will help to provide immediate medical attention to the needy person. Problems of high altitude sickness, shortness of breathing, dizziness, etc. are the ones frequently encountered during the trek. Presence of medical kit helps to resolve any of such problems and provides immediate relief and medical attention to the person who is in need for the same.

Equipment - Some special trekking equipments are necessary for expedition and some other treks. Such special equipments will have to be brought or arranged by you. As such equipments are quite expensive; it is not possible for us to arrange such materials. However, general trekking and minor accessory requirements will be provided by the company. You only need to bring with you some of the special trekking equipment necessary for trek and expedition. Also, if you do not have such equipments then we can provide you with such equipments, but you need to pay for it.
