Day 16 – Departure

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu:
As soon as you disembark at the Tribhuvan International Airport premises, you will be greeted by our representative and conveyed to our hotel at Kathmandu where welcome dinner will be served in your honor and briefing regarding your trekking package is made.

Day02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu:
Full day guided tour is taken in and around Kathmandu that include World Heritage Sites of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath and Durbar Squares of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur.

Day 03: Drive to Syabru Besi:
About 9 hours drive through spectacular vistas of mountains, cascading waterfalls and paddy fields covering 117km serpentine road will lead us to Syabru Besi after stopping for brief rest at Dhunche. Plenty of hotels and lodges are available at Syabru Besi. We will find the one that will suit our taste for staying overnight.

Day 04: Trekking to Lama Hotel:
Traversing Bhote Koshi River, we will pursue Langtang River whence the trail elongates through bamboo following the rugged path to Rimche located at 2400m altitude at the edge of Langtang River. Bit further uphill locates Lama Hotel at 2500m altitude where we will be staying overnight.

Day05: Trek to Langtang Village:
Moving through Gumanechok at Ghoda Tabela, we will clamber the steep path to Langtang valley where we will have the spectacular vista of Lirung before heading to meadow where yaks and goats can be seen grazing. We will stay in Langtang overnight

Day06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa:
Chasing the inclined path uphill, we will pass through Sindum and Yamphu whence the trekking trail prolongs by the way of Laja Khola to a viewpoint. Enjoying the exquisite views of Kyanjin Gompa and icefall from Lirung and Kinshung, we will drop down to Kyanjin Gompa.

Day07: Rest day in Kyanjin Gompa:
Much needed rest is taken this day whereby we will get rejuvenated and save energy for the trek to be taken in upcoming days. We will enjoy the scenic views of Langtang Lirung, Genjempol and Kenga Himal ranges. Short trek can be arranged to Cheese factory, Buddhist monastery or Tsergo Ri (5033m).

Day 08: Trek to Ngegang Kharka:
Walking across the Langtang Khola, we will ascend the hill and pass through rhododendron and juniper forest to reach to Ngegang Kharka which is meadow with lush green vegetation where we can see yak grazing.

Day 09: Trek to Keldang via Ganja La Pass:
Negotiating through the rocky trail made slippery by the snow, we will climb Ganja La Pass. Eye feasting the soaring scenery of colossal Langtang Himal and Lirung, we will descend to Yangri Khola Valley after which we will cross stream and pass through meadows to make it to Kaldang where we will stay overnight.

Day 10: Trek to Dukpu:
Lowering further through a long ridge, we will tread uphill and downhill to enter a valley whence the trail prolongs through small settlements to Dukpu.

Day 11: Trek to Tarke Gyang:
After a slight fall, the course taken will ascend to 4100m Pass allowing the spectacular vista of Annnapurna and Everest regions. The trekking trail then drops down through a forest of spruce and rhododendrons to reach Tarke Gyang- the large Sherpa Village.

Day 12: Trek to Sermathang:
Treading along the flat land, we will join the trail that advances through verdant woods and range over Sherpa Village of Gangyul located at2520m altitude prior to lowering down a bit and then soaring up through deep jungle to arrive at Chumik from where the path surge to village of Sermathang.

Day13: Trek to Melamchi Pul Bazaar:
Leaving Sermathang Village behind, the route will have gentle descent whence it moves forth Villages of Nigale, Gyalsha and Raithani Gyang and pine woods to village of Dubha Chaur bit further from where exists Melamchi Pul Bazaar.

Day14: Drive back to Kathmandu:
3hours of drive along bumpy gravel road up to Lamidanda and black topped road afterwards will lead us to Chabahil of Kathmandu from where we will be transported back to hotel.

Day 15: Kathmandu free day:
This is a spare day. You can go shopping around freak streets of Thamel clustered with shops selling souvenir goods. Evening is the best time to have fun- filled rickshaw ride in and around Thamel. Farewell dinner will be served in your honor in the evening.

Day 16: Departure:
Aiding in your last moment preparation, our representative will deport you back to Tribhuvan International Airport, boarding a flight whence will take you to your next destination. We wish you safe journey and hope to see you soon.

Getting to Nepal - You will land at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu when you first come to Nepal. Our travel representatives will receive you at the Airport and then transfer you to a hotel in the capital city. That will be our first task after you land in the country. The itinerary then follows in the coming days.

Visa information in Nepal - Once you arrive in Kathmandu, your first job or task will be to consult the Department of Immigration in Nepal regarding your Nepal stay. Our team members will help you in completing the necessary works regarding Visa and the procedures of extension, if needed. If you are planning for an extended stay in Nepal, say more than three months or around a year or so, then you need to extend your Visa through the Immigration Department. This won’t be of any problem as we will handle the government-related activities.

Trek permit - There are some restricted trekking destinations in Nepal which require special permission from the government of Nepal or a government agency for the foreign trekkers. They also need to pay a fixed royalty to trek some of the selected places in Nepal. Some of the restricted trekking destinations like Upper Dolpo Trek, Mustang Trek, Rara Trek, etc. require special trek permit for the foreigners. However, there won’t be any such problem as we, the company, will look after the legal formalities in securing the trek permits for the clients. It will be our responsibility to secure trek permits for you.

Altitude sickness - As most of the trekking destinations in Nepal exceed 4000 meters of altitude, high altitude sickness is one of the common problems faced by the trekkers. High altitude sickness can be very fatal and dangerous if you are not prepared for the same. Some of the trekking destinations like Upper Mustang Trek, Everest Base Camp Trek, Langtang Circuit Trek exceeds and nears around 5000 meters of altitude with chances of high altitude sickness. However, if you are aware of the problem and if you take special measure, then altitude sickness can be avoided and will not be much of a problem. As we have experienced trekking guides and a team of experienced hand, altitude sickness will not be a problem and even if it occurs, it will be handled well by our team members.

Medical Kit - Whenever we embark on a tour package or itinerary, we are fully prepared of the possible consequences or the untoward incidents, and hence our team carries a separate medical kit. Medical kit is of immense help and importance during long tours and trek as you never know what will happen next, even regarding the health of the trekkers. Availability of medical kit is very paramount as it will help to provide immediate medical attention to the needy person. Problems of high altitude sickness, shortness of breathing, dizziness, etc. are the ones frequently encountered during the trek. Presence of medical kit helps to resolve any of such problems and provides immediate relief and medical attention to the person who is in need for the same.

Equipment - Some special trekking equipments are necessary for expedition and some other treks. Such special equipments will have to be brought or arranged by you. As such equipments are quite expensive; it is not possible for us to arrange such materials. However, general trekking and minor accessory requirements will be provided by the company. You only need to bring with you some of the special trekking equipment necessary for trek and expedition. Also, if you do not have such equipments then we can provide you with such equipments, but you need to pay for it.
