Nagarkot

Nagarkot is a popular hill station located around 32 kilometers east on the outskirts of the capital city of Kathmandu. It is situated at an altitude of 2,195 meters from the sea level and is one of the most famous places both for the domestic as well as international tourists to spend their holidays, away from the hustle and bustle of the Kathmandu Valley. It is even more famous for the magnificent views of sunrise and sun set from the hills in Nagarkot. If the weather is clear, then it is possible to have a peek at several mountain ranges ranging from Gauri Shankar Himla, Ganesh Himal to the Mount Everest. Several hotels and guesthouses can be found in Nagarkot and it has been one of the most favoured places both by family and couples for spending night stay. Nowadays, Nagarkot is being popular as a suitable place for viewing Mount Everest and other snow-capped Peaks. You can even see the brilliant view of River Indrawati from the Eastern part where you will be gifted by the excellent view and you will remember its beauty forever.

Chitwan

Chitwan district is situated on the west of Narayani Zone of Nepal. Covering an area of 2,218 kms, Chitwan is the fifth largest city of Nepal. Bharatpur which is connected with Chitwan provides a commercial as well as service centred major destination for transportation, health facilities and higher education. Chitwan is named from Chitwan Valley. Chitwan is predominantly rich for diverse flora and fauna and other natural vegetation. Moreover, the Chitwan National Park, which is the first National Park of Nepal, is also situated in Chitwan and it is one of the main reasons why Chitwan happens to a major tourist destination in Nepal. Chitwan National Park is located adjoining with Parsa Wildlife Reserve and which provides diversity of flora and wildlife species

Lumbini

Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Gautama Buddha, situated about 300 kms southwest of Kathmandu Valley that carries tremendous archeological significance. Lumbini is another holy place for Buddhist pilgrims, listed by UNESCO in its world heritage list. Lumbini is famous for the major shrine of newly re-established temple of Mayadevi, the Pillar of Ashoka which is situated at the back of the temple, the Lake Shakya Puskarini where Mayadevi had taken a bath before she gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama into the world.

Kakani

Kakani lies in the Nuwakot district of the Bagmati Zone situated very near from the capital city of Kathmandu. It lies in a distance of around 25 kilometers from Balaju in Kathmandu. Kakani is a village which is taken as a home for many monumental Parks. Strawberry is a noteworthy farming for the local industry in Kakani. Kakani is well known for panoramic views of mountains (Annapurna, Manasalu, Lantang) with other remaining more than 15 mountains over the height of 6,000m from the sea level. From there you get chance to view Kathmandu Valley and its beauty with their tradition and unique culture. Kakani is a wonderful place for arranging picnic which has its own significance. Our national flower, Rhododendron, gives different scenery to the slopes of mountains as well as to the village by adding to the charm.

Pokhara

Geographically, Pokhara is the second largest city of Nepal, situated in the West of Kathmandu, some 200 kms away from the Capital city. Pokhara is the headquarters of Kaski district, Gandaki Zone. Pokhara is an exceptionally beautiful place with all the grandeurs of nature in offer. May be that is the reason why Pokahara is the most popular destination in Nepal for the foreign tourists. Mount Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu, which come under among the ten highest Mountains of the world, are positioned just 30 miles from the city. Pokhara is the perfect place that offers great Himalayas and Mountains. Plus it is suitable for the pedestal or for those trekkers who do not have time yet want to take the pleasure of Mountaineering. Pokhara, almost famously, is also known as the city of Lakes as more than a dozen small and big lakes are scattered in and around the city of Pokhara. Most famous amongst them is of course the Fewa Lake which lies in the middle of Pokhara city. Boating in Fewa Lake while enjoying the nature around is one of the major attractions for the tourists. Apart from the scenic beauty, Pokhara comprises of lots of temples like the Barahi temple, Bindhyabasini temple, Sitaladevi temple, Mudula Karki Kulayan Mandir, Bhadrakali Temple, Kumarai temple and Kedarshowri Temple. Besides, the World Peace Pagoda, perched in one of the hills across the Few Lake is another major attraction for the tourists. The view of the entire Fewa Lake and the city from the top cannot be described in words. Pokhara is full of religious, adventures and tourism places. You will be doing a lot of things in Pokhara which is a complete package for the vacation. Other popular places in Pokhara are Davis fall, Mahendra cave and other lakes like Begnas and Rupa. Besides them, you can also engage yourself in adventure sports like Paragliding, Ultra Light and the recently launched Zip Flying. Bandipur

Bandipur is a little village and a settlement area situated in a hilltop of Tanahun district. It is situated 143 kms West of Kathmandu Valley and just 80 kms east of Pokhara. Bandipur is known for its ancient culture and the ever-lasting tradition. May be due to this reason, Bandipur is popular even among the tourists and has been converted into a major tourist area of late. Before transforming into the tourism area, it was used as a channel for trade by the Newari people who belonged to Bhaktapur. The time came when the scenario changed and they decided to bring their extra ordinary culture, unique architecture for their livelihood which is interconnected with their day to day lives.

Dhulikhel

Dhulikhel is another beautiful place situated on the outskirts of the Kathmandu Valley that has a magical beauty and feature to attract the visitors. It is the administrative centre of Kavre district. It lies along the Araniko Highway and is located about 30 kms South East from the capital city of Kathmandu. Dhulikhel is mostly known for the sunrise and sunset views and is also a famous picnic spot in the region. Several good hotels, guesthouses and resorts are located in Dhulikhel that will make sure you will have a memorable stay in the naturally blessed region. You will also get to know different people from different ethnicity. Dhulikhel is known as a pure and beautiful place and the water that you get here is supposed to be the best water for drinking. Dhulikhel is an appropriate place from tourism perspective as well as it includes all the facilities that tourists look for. It is one of the oldest towns in Nepal but due to rapid urbanization, Dhulikhel is slowly progressing as a luxurious city with its old cultures still preserved.
