Manaslu Expedition is 52-days long Travel package which offers a combination of a rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed beauty and biological diversity. Manaslu Circuit is taken to be one of the most challenging treks in Nepal which offers best alpine expedition experience. Manaslu Expedition is a visit into remote and restricted area of the Government of Nepal. Walking between the borders of Nepal and Tibet, exploring the ancient monasteries, passing through the ethnic communities of Brahman, Chhetri and Magar and getting familiar with their culture and livelihood, exploring the sites with diverse flora and fauna, treading through the dense alpine forest, having kaleidoscopic views of Manaslu, Hiunchuli Mountains, walking along Budhi Gandaki River, Machhaa Khola and Sati Khola and visiting the historic city of Gorkha are all the parts of the long Manaslu Expedition.

Day0 1: Arrival in Kathmandu:
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be taken to our hotel by our representative. You will get a briefing about your travel itinerary afterwards which you can rest for the day.
Day 02: Expedition Preparation:
After early breakfast, we will take a short guided tour of Kathmandu whereby we will visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath and Basantapur Durbar Square. In the evening, you can travel to the freak street of Thamel for shopping the accessories required for your trek.
Day03: Drive to Gorkha: Folowing Prithvi Highway for about 3and half hours, we will enter the historic city of Gorkha known to the world as the native place of brave Gurkhas. We will visit Gorkha Durbar, the Royal residence of King Prithvi Narayan Shah.
Day04: Move to Khanchowk: Leaving Gorkha behind, we will head early in the morning through several villages and rice fields with view of Manaslu and Himchuli Mountain at the background to head to Khanchowk.
Day05: Move to Arughat: From Dhading Besi, we will follow the dirt road for another 3hrs to finally reach to Arughat which is a pretty small town popular as a hub of Upper Gorkha. We will be staying overnight in hotel at Arughat Bazaar located near to Budi Gandaki River.
Day 06: Trek to Sati Khola:
We will follow the track through Sante Khola Bazar and Budhi Gandaki valley and arrive at the Koiraa pani -a small ethnic village of Magar and Gurung. A gentle drop from Koiraa pani will lead us to Sati Khola where we will be staying overnight in a camp at the bank.
Day07: Trek to Machha Khola:
Walking along the Budhi Gandaki River, we will ascend uphill through thickets to Almara and pass several streams and pretty villages to reach to widening valley. Lowering down the valley, we will walk through the sandy river bed prior to ascending to Machha Khola.
Day 08: Trek to Lauri:
Crossing the bridge, we will walk along the river bank before ascending uphill and pass through verdant forest to arrive to Lauri where we will be staying overnight.
Day09: Trek to Serson:
The expedition continues by crossing the bridge after which we will go through the way that goes up and down through forest and streams to Serson.
Day10: Trek to Deng:
Leaving the stone steps, we will head towards Salleri that offers spectacular view of Sringi Himal. Crossing the bridge at Ghat Klola, the trail stretches through Philim Village to Ekle Bhatti near Shiar Khola. Lowering down further, we will make it to Deng.
Day11: Trek to Ghap:
Transiting dense verdant woods, we will make it to an area in a narrow valley whence we will cross the Budhi Gandaki River and arrive to a valley before climbing up the hill to Rana. From Rana, the trail continues through river and enjoying the scenic view of the Manaslu mountain, we will descend to Ghap where we will be staying overnight at the camp.
Day12: Trek to Namrung:
Treading past the alpine woods, we will climb the steep hill upwards to arrive at meadow. Crossing the stream from Lidana Glacier, we will ascend further up to farm villages at Namrung.
Day13: Trek to Syala:
Crossing the village, we will climb uphill to the point where we will be enjoying the scenic views of the northern facet of Manaslu and continue moving to make it to Syala where we will be staying overnight.
Day 14: Trek to Samagaon:
The trail for this day continues through forests before crossing the villages along the Buddhist path. We will be visiting monasteries and moving along Mani walls and chortens on the way before reaching to Samagaon-a village with more than 150 houses. We will stay overnight in Samagaon.
Day 15: Trek to Manaslu Base Camp:
A trek of about6hours will take us to Manaslu Base Camp. We will then prepare a temporary camp and spend the night over there, while also prepare for the strenuous peak climbing that starts from the following day.
Day16-45: Climbing of Manaslu:
It takes 30 days of walking through arduous trail to conquer the Manaslu Mountain and be back to Manaslu Base Camp. . During this time period, you will ascend the Peak, enjoying the mountain climbing and also exploring the greatness of the Himalayas. During the trekking days, you will set up a tented camp and spend the overnight. In 30 days of time, you will scale the peak and descend down to the base camp.
Day46: Cleanup the Base Camp:
This day will be taken as a rest day. We will lie down and stretch our aching muscles. The evening period will be utilized to clean up the base camp.
Day47-49: Retrace to Gorkha:
It demands three whole days to reach to Gorkha from Manaslu Base Camp. We will be staying in the hotel at Gorkha Bazaar for night.
Day50: Drive back to Kathmandu:
It takes drive of about 3and half hours through the scenic views along Prithvi Highway to arrive at Kathmandu where we will be staying overnight in our hotel.
Day51: Free Day in Kathmandu:
We will take a much sought after rest from the perilous trekking. Evening is the perfect time to set out for rickshaw ride along the freak street of Thamel.
We will assist in your last minute packing and then our representative will leave you to Tribhuvan International Airport from where you can return back to your home or yet another destination. We hope to serve you again.

Getting to Nepal - You will land at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu when you first come to Nepal. Our travel representatives will receive you at the Airport and then transfer you to a hotel in the capital city. That will be our first task after you land in the country. The itinerary then follows in the coming days.
Visa information in Nepal - Once you arrive in Kathmandu, your first job or task will be to consult the Department of Immigration in Nepal regarding your Nepal stay. Our team members will help you in completing the necessary works regarding Visa and the procedures of extension, if needed. If you are planning for an extended stay in Nepal, say more than three months or around a year or so, then you need to extend your Visa through the Immigration Department. This won’t be of any problem as we will handle the government-related activities.
Trek permit - There are some restricted trekking destinations in Nepal which require special permission from the government of Nepal or a government agency for the foreign trekkers. They also need to pay a fixed royalty to trek some of the selected places in Nepal. Some of the restricted trekking destinations like Upper Dolpo Trek, Mustang Trek, Rara Trek, etc. require special trek permit for the foreigners. However, there won’t be any such problem as we, the company, will look after the legal formalities in securing the trek permits for the clients. It will be our responsibility to secure trek permits for you.
Altitude sickness - As most of the trekking destinations in Nepal exceed 4000 meters of altitude, high altitude sickness is one of the common problems faced by the trekkers. High altitude sickness can be very fatal and dangerous if you are not prepared for the same. Some of the trekking destinations like Upper Mustang Trek, Everest Base Camp Trek, Langtang Circuit Trek exceeds and nears around 5000 meters of altitude with chances of high altitude sickness. However, if you are aware of the problem and if you take special measure, then altitude sickness can be avoided and will not be much of a problem. As we have experienced trekking guides and a team of experienced hand, altitude sickness will not be a problem and even if it occurs, it will be handled well by our team members.
Medical Kit - Whenever we embark on a tour package or itinerary, we are fully prepared of the possible consequences or the untoward incidents, and hence our team carries a separate medical kit. Medical kit is of immense help and importance during long tours and trek as you never know what will happen next, even regarding the health of the trekkers. Availability of medical kit is very paramount as it will help to provide immediate medical attention to the needy person. Problems of high altitude sickness, shortness of breathing, dizziness, etc. are the ones frequently encountered during the trek. Presence of medical kit helps to resolve any of such problems and provides immediate relief and medical attention to the person who is in need for the same.
Equipment - Some special trekking equipments are necessary for expedition and some other treks. Such special equipments will have to be brought or arranged by you. As such equipments are quite expensive; it is not possible for us to arrange such materials. However, general trekking and minor accessory requirements will be provided by the company. You only need to bring with you some of the special trekking equipment necessary for trek and expedition.
